Emperor, I think you are giving yourself the shaft here. Maybe you aren't so hot 'in real life' making chit chat or are a bit shy and get anxious. I don't know. I do know that I read all the posts when I first log into IA, so I've read a bunch of yours for several years now. Would you like to read my first post? Pleases don't. For claiming difficulty on line, I think you sell yourself mighty short. Just my opinion.

Some ideas on how to create more traffic here. You can make it known on other sites w/ the same interest about this one. Or you are going to have to dilute just classic tv and include other areas of interest. And probably do my first idea anyways.

When I read this forum I am sometimes amazed at energy and depth of knowledge, but the numbers are telling. For example, GD is over 231,000 hits and classic tv close to 9K. There just isn't as much interest. (And if we get 2 or 3 good new posters a year that is pretty damn good.) You have to create interest of awareness. And you are the only one to do this. Don't expect any help, and if you do get some help count it as a blessing.

I would love a place to talk about The Killing. Or Six Feet Under. Or this past season of The Walking Dead. Or picking an actor and watching a bunch of their movies. But, that not what this site is about.

Purity vs. possible numbers.

By other subjects, I meant say for example: 1950s candy brands, 1960s cars, etc etc. But still keeping the vast majority of posts about classic TV.
